Why is my HVAC making noise?

It’s common for your comfort equipment to make a bit of noise as it works. There are a few details that impact its sound level, like age and insulation. However, hearing odd or loud noises may mean a future problem with your equipment. If you don’t fix it, there may be serious (and pricey) consequences in the future.

When substituting the outdoor system, should the indoor unit also be replaced?

Our response is, it’s a smart approach.

Why is my AC System Freezing Up?

Generally, it can be due to restricted air flow or insufficient refrigerant. Some quick steps to fix this are:
1. Turn the unit completely off at the thermostat, and do not increase the thermostat temperature as a way to melt the frost on the coils. Just make sure the A/C system is completely OFF.
2. Confirm that there is nothing restricting the airflow to the system. Replace the furnace or air handler's filter along with any return air filters. Open all the registers completely and verify that they are not obstructed by furniture or curtains.
3. Give us a call.
